Of the 156 players in the PGA Championship this week, seven of them are former Spirit International players. Spirit Alumni competing include: George Coetzee (S. Africa), Martin Kaymer (Germany), Charl Schwartzel (Germany), Brandt Snedeker (U.S.), Jason Day (Australia), Francesco Molianri (Italy) and Matteo Manasserro (Italy).

Both Coetzee (2005 Spirit) and Snedeker (2003 Spirit) have been playing well lately, with Snedeker coming close to a major win last month at the British Open. And while all of the Spirit International Alumni in the event are well-prepared for the final championship of the year, the likely winner this week might be the golf course. The Ocean Course at Kiawah has widely (and most recently) been regarded as one of the more difficult championship venues the players have seen this year. And with a weekend forecast for wind and potentially strong storms in the mix, the course could just be the "player" to beat.
