Spirit Players Playing Summer Golf

As the summer rolls on and amateur events "heat up" all over the country (world)...several Spirit alumni continue to impress and play well.

One amateur event starting today doens't get too much press, but has deep, southern historical roots in the game of golf: The Dogwood Invitational at Druid Hills Golf Club outside of Atlanta, GA.

Druid Hills Golf Club opened in 1912, and was designed by Englishman H.H. Barker. The Dogwood was first held there in 1941 and has maintained a rich history of showcasing future stars, while maintaining wonderful southern hospitatlity (much like the Spirit International.)

There are 2 Spirit Players in the field: Garrett Rank and Carlos Ortiz.  Both have been profiled in our Country Team of the Month program, so you know all about these 2 future stars in golf.

For more information on the Dogwood and to see results from Garrett and Carlos, go to www.thedogwood.com
