Spirit Players at the Masters |
Spirit alumnus and defending Masters Champion Charl Schwartzel has started his first round at The Masters today. He joins a highly competitive international field of not only the world's greatest golfers, but also several other Spirit Alumni, including: Jason Day, Ross Fisher, Martin Kaymer, Kelly Kraft, Eduardo Molinari, Francesco Molinari and Brandt Snedeker. It’s no coincidence that these alumni are some of the strongest players in the field. Over the course of the last 10 years, the Spirit International Amateur Championship has quickly become one of the top events showcasing the game’s greatest amateurs and top players of tomorrow. These players are vying for what many consider to be the most prestigious prize in golf: The Masters Trophy. For more complete information on these players, go to www.masters.org |

| Oh, and yes I have. I really don't know, but I'd be willing to guess that I am the hardest working, non chair volunteer at the Spirit. Also I work the Big 12. I really recommend to anybody that has a chance to work the Spirit, DO IT! It is one of the most rewarding experiences that you will ever have. |

| Rory! However, I'd really love to see Tiger win it. |

Don, have you been to Whispering Pines? The golf course is incredible. One of the best in Texas. As a matter of fact... it IS the best in Texas! I am glad to see the Big 12 there. To answer your question, Hunter Mahan (OSU, 2005) and Rickie Fowler (OSU, 2008). Who is your pick for the Masters this week? |
