Chris started his professional career at Dornick Hills Country Club in Ardmore, Oklahoma after playing golf for East Central Oklahoma University.  After three years of apprenticeship at Dornick Hills Chris became an assistant at the historic Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas.  Ten PGA Tour events and thousands of lessons later Chris became the Head Professional at Whispering Pines Golf Club.

Along the way Chris has earned a few honors.  Chris 

was nominated to Golf Digest and Golf Magazines Top 100 Teachers in America.  He was named one of the top teachers in the south central United States in 2005 and has recently been nominated again to Golf Magazines Top 100 list.  In addition, Chris was just recently awarded the STPGA 2012 Harvey Penick Teacher of the Year for the Southern Texas PGA.

Chris had one student make it through all three stages of PGA Qualifying School to earn his card for the 2005 season along with having three State Champions under his tutelage.  Chris has been published in Golf Digest along with other numerous publications.

Chris, along with his three boys, are happy to be part of the Whispering Pines family.
