Danish Golf Union is the organization for Danish golf clubs. The supreme authority is the Council, ie directors of the Danish golfclubs that meet once a year.
Danish Golf Union has 181 member of clubs and the clubs have a total of 151,185 active and 21,414 passive members.
At first January 2011 there was a total of 33 amateurs and 12 pros in DGU's elite development. 4 of these amateurs are the participant in The Spirit.
