With under-par rounds throughout the tournament, Henderson ended up at 13-under par 275.
“I’m really happy I was able to shoot four rounds under par and I come away with the win, it’s awesome. It was just a great week, a great course, and it was just a lot of fun,” said Henderson.
With a 3-under par 69 on the day, McKinnon made a charge for top spot, but in the end she finished in second place at 9-under par 275.
“I was trying to make [my lead] even bigger but Brogan wouldn’t let me,” said Henderson. “A couple of times today she was really close and I kept trying to make more putts but she was right on my tail.”
In third place, Henderson’s Team Canada teammate Jisoo Keel, 16, of Coquitlam, B.C. finished at 1-over par 289, while fellow Team Canada member Taylor Kim, 17, of Surrey, B.C. ended up in fourth position at 4-over par 292.

Maybe, hopefully, I’ll make the cut,” said Henderson of her upcoming CN Canadian Women’s Open experience.
