2003 Spirit Player Snedeker at The Open

After the second round of the 2012 British Open Championship, it appeared as though Brandt Snedeker was in complete control: not only were his first two rounds bogey-free, but Snedeker also matched Nick Faldo's 20 year old half way record score of 130. Ultimately, a faltering third round left Snedeker trailing Australian Adam Scott, who took a four shot lead and, in the dramatic final round, lost by one shot to South Africa's Ernie Els.

In the end, Snedeker finished 73-74, an impressive 3 under par and T3 with Tiger Woods. It is his best finish at a British Open. Congrats Brandt!
