The Spirit International - RokuGuide Review

The Spirit International Amateur Golf Championship is a biennial event featuring teams from 20 countries. The competition is by invitation only, with teams composed of 2 men and 2 women invited on the basis of the most recent World Amateur Team Championships.

The Spirit International was shown live on Roku. Unfortunately, the channel wasn't released in the Channel Store until the last day of the week-long competition. Golf fans who want to see a re-cap of the action can still watch 2-minute highlight videos and player profiles and interviews, but a good opportunity for live sports broadcasts on the Roku was missed because of the late launch of this channel. The Jay at Maverick's offered live coverage of the Big Wave Invitational 2010-2011, but live sports coverage has been otherwise nonexistent. Hopefully, more sports competitions will offer live Roku broadcasts in the future.

Developer's Channel Description: The Spirit International Amateur Golf Championship is a world class golf event. It features the world's best amateur men and amateur women golfers as they represent their respective country in team and individual competitions.
